First Sino-US Nuclear Medical College Forum 2016

From September 21 to 23, 2016, the First Forum of China-US Academy of Nuclear Medicine and the 2016 Linyi International Summit Forum on Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging were held in Linyi. The event was co-sponsored by the Nuclear Medicine Association of the Chinese Medical Association and the American College of Nuclear Medicine, and was co-sponsored by the Nuclear Medicine Association of the Shandong Medical Association, Linyi Institute of Scientific and Technological Cooperation and Applied Research, Linyi People's Hospital, Tancheng County High-tech Electronic Industry Park and Shandong Madic Technology Co., LTD. More than 100 nuclear medicine and molecular imaging experts from China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Australia and other countries and regions participated in the forum. Professor Li Yaming, Chairman of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Professor Patrick Kleiti, President of the American Academy of Nuclear Medicine, Professor Andrew Scott, President of the World Union of Nuclear Medicine and Biology, Dr. Pei Yuanhu, Secretary-General of the Asian Academy of Nuclear Medicine, Professor Yoshizawa, President of the Japan Nuclear Medical Association, and Korea Nuclear Medical Association Professor An Bingzhe, Chairman of the Academic Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Democratic League of China, Professor Hou Guihua, Chairman of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Shandong Medical Association, and other internationally renowned experts attended the conference.
The conference will discuss and exchange the development of nuclear medicine, precision medicine, molecular imaging and other fields at home and abroad. Professor Patrick M. Colletti, President of the National Nuclear Medical College, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Nuclear Medicine, Professor Zhuang Hongming, Vice-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Nuclear Medicine and Professor Ding Hong, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Chinese Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, will also hold a training course for more than 50 young scholars on the writing of academic papers on the Sino-US Institute of Nuclear Medicine was established by the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the American Academy of Nuclear Medicine. Its main purpose is to promote Sino-US cooperation in research, education, training and standard-setting in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, and to promote exchanges between the two countries in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. As the official academic exchange meeting between the Chinese and American Academies of Nuclear Medicine, the Sino-US Academy of Nuclear Medical Sciences Forum will be held once a year in the future, focusing on the frontier topics of nuclear medicine and molecular medicine between the two countries, and providing training for practitioners in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. In order to give full play to the international exchange function of the Forum, experts in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging from all over the world are invited to participate in the Forum.
